September is “Cleanup Month” with World Cleanup Day hosted on September 18, 2021. We're asking our community to join the effort and end the summer strong with an Ambassador Community Clean Up!
Cleanups are scheduled throughout the globe this month. Celebrate by joining an event, finding a local organization, initiating a pro-active group, or taking part in your own private cleanup.

Every year, World Cleanup Day reports the most littered items found. Previous years have seen cigarette butts and food wrappers taking the top spots in polluting our natural spaces. While your out picking up trash this month, take note of which item(s) you find most often littered and let us know your finding in our Work Report.
This month, points are awarded for picking up trash around your community: parks, trails, beaches, or anywhere you see discarded trash littering our planet.
How it Works
1. Clean up some trash
Please use caution and wear appropriate protective gear (gloves, masks, etc.).
2. Document your haul
Weigh / estimate your trash collection and snap a photo to share with us.
3. Note the “most littered” item
What item do you find most often discarded in your trash pickup?
4. Submit the Work Report
Submit a Work Report on the Happy Earth website.
5. Share your experience!
Upload a photo to Instagram or Facebook and tag us.
