Community Engagement Lead / Social Media Manager (Part Time, Remote)

Summary: The community engagement lead will be collaborating on and executing a dynamic social media strategy that promotes brand and product awareness, encourages sales growth, and engages our community in environmental awareness, sustainability in fashion, and the brand’s values.

You will be joining a small team in a collaborative start-up environment, co-developing this new, evolving role. Day-to-day responsibilities will include finding content to share, brainstorming content to create, and curating a content calendar, as well as responding to comments, messages, and other forms of engagement. The focus will be increasing community engagement and number of followers.

Role may expand to assist in other marketing areas. $20-$30/hr, negotiable based on experience.


  • Work with leadership on a comprehensive social media strategy across social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others.

  • Curate, create, and share relevant, compelling content to foster interest and engagement with the brand.

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and adapt content towards growth.

  • Collaborate with leadership on campaign ideas to grow organic reach and better leverage existing reach.

  • Respond to followers’ comments, messages, and otherwise manage the brand’s social interactions.


  • Experience in social media strategy, management, execution, and engagement, working across Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram.

  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills; comfortable translating complex concepts into brief, understandable, and compelling copy.

  • Experience creating and hosting short-form videos.

  • Knowledge of or experience in conservation, environmentalism, or related fields.

  • Ability to understand and communicate to leadership trends in the digital content and social media space.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

  • Special consideration give to those with experience in other marketing roles and experience in graphic design.
